NEWS: Serie A Women will be Live on Sky

The Italian TV platform “Sky” will announce in the next days the purchase of the rights to show Serie A Women Soccer.

This is an incredible news for the entire Women Soccer movement which has been waiting and pushing for this kind of change in the last years. After the shift from LND to FIGC (Italian Football Federation, governing body of football in Italy), another big change for the “Calcio Femminile” is about to happen. Last year some games were live on Facebook or on Raisport but it was nothing compared to the resonance the competition will gain thanks to Sky.

The most important TV platform in the country will guarantee the development of a new and innovative product to entertain the audience. The goal of FIGC and Sky is to promote the “Calcio Femminile” in order to reduce the gap with some of the most developed European countries in the Women Soccer competition.
